“We’re on the home stretch” – DFB confirms Jürgen Klopp deal is close
The German Football Association has confirmed that a deal to appoint Jürgen Klopp as Germany's head coach is nearing completion.

Jürgen Klopp is on the verge of being officially appointed as Germany’s head coach.
Following talks between the German Football Association and Klopp’s current employer, Red Bull, a full agreement is now close.
“We're on the home stretch,” a DFB official told German news agency SID.
Klopp is currently under contract with Red Bull as Head of Global Soccer until 2029.
Set to replace Julian Nagelsmann, Klopp is expected to sign a deal to become Germany coach that runs until after the 2030 World Cup.
