A recent report from Sport1 suggested that Jean-Matteo Bahoya is dissatisfied with his role as a substitute at Eintracht Frankfurt and that a move could be on the cards if his situation doesn’t change, with Arsenal reportedly monitoring the 20-year-old.

Eintracht Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller, however, says the winger doesn’t seem unhappy.

“I haven’t noticed any major dissatisfaction with him,” Toppmöller said at a press conference.

“It’s clear that every player in this squad wants maximum playing time. In the end, it simply comes down to: what kind of performance do you deliver on the pitch? How are your scoring contributions? How are you performing in training?”

Toppmöller went on to highlight Bahoya’s potential, but also stressed that the player must take the lead in realizing it.

“We know he definitely has the potential to take another huge step forward. In the first instance, it is of course up to him.”

Bahoya most recently came on for 13 minutes in Eintracht's 4-3 win over 1. FC Köln at the weekend.
