After it was reported late on Wednesday that Bayern Munich are on the verge of agreeing a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt for Nathaniel Brown, the German champions are also making progress on another transfer target.
According to Foot Mercato, Bayern and PSV are nearing an agreement for Ismael Saibari, with the Bavarians having already agreed personal terms with the player.
Their report claims Bayern have put together a package consisting of a €45 million base fee plus €5 million in potential bonuses, while the Dutch side are demanding at least €50 million as a fixed fee.
Accordingly, the gap isn't significant, and a deal is drawing closer, with all parties optimistic about reaching an agreement.
Saibari is set to represent Morocco at the World Cup and is expected to undergo his medical in the United States if an agreement is reached.
