BILD are reporting that major renovation works are currently taking place at Bayern Munich's training ground Säbener Straße.
The €150million project to build a new performance center is still on hold, even though it had been approved by the supervisory board.
One reason for the delay is the amount of earth that would need to be removed by trucks during the construction of the two underground levels.
Therefore, the existing performance center is being renovated, with a small extension towards the training pitch.
A meeting room is planned for the first floor as part of the renovations. The athletics and physiotherapy areas will also be expanded.
Modernization of the fan shop is also taking place. In addition, the training pitches are being renovated over the last number of days.
All this work is part of the major renovation with which FC Bayern aims to transform its training grounds into a more modern home for the club.
Whether and when the ambitious €150million new performance center will be built is currently still undecided.
