Sport BILD are reporting that "many clubs are after [Mathis] Albert", who is currently breaking through in Borussia Dortmund's first team.

The article in the popular tabloid even goes as far as to say top clubs are prepared to “pay up to €15million for the American".

Which clubs are specifically interested remains unclear for now, but it seems certain that BVB are not considering selling the young talent.

Unsurprisingly, due to his enormous potential, Albert could command a significantly higher transfer fee for Dortmund down the line.

Albert, who is currently part of Niko Kovač's squad for their tour of Japan, even impressed in Dortmund's 2-1 defeat to Fortuna Düsseldorf

During the friendly fixture at the Merkur Spiel Arena last Saturday, the 17-year-old scored the only goal and was heavily involved in play.
