Confirmed lineups: Germany vs. Ecuador

Here's how both Germany and Ecuador officially line up for their final game in Group E of the 2026 World Cup.

With first place in Group E already secured after wins over Curaçao (7-1) and Côte d'Ivoire (2-1), a rotated Germany side take on Ecuador who are in desperate need of a victory to keep their World Cup alive.

With around an hour to go until kick-off in the New Jersey Stadium in New York, the confirmed Germany vs. Ecuador lineups have been announced, with the official starting XIs available below.

Julian Nagelsmann informed the media a day in advance that wholesale changes would not be made. True to his word, only David Raum and Antonio Rüdiger replace the injured Nathaniel Brown and Nico Schlotterbeck.

Germany XI (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Kimmich, Rüdiger, Tah, Raum – Nmecha, Pavlovic – Sané, Musiala, Wirtz – Havertz 

Ecuador (4-4-2): Galindez – Franco, Ordonez, Pacho, Hincapié – Yeboah, Vite, Caicedo, Angulo – Plata, Valencia
