After their initial bid was refused, Chelsea has now responded with a second offer for Jamie Gittens as RMC reports.

According to the report, the new bid presented by the Blues is estimated to be around the €50million mark.

The London club would like to complete Gittens' transfer by 8p.m.so that the 20-year-old winger can compete at the Club World Cup.

A response from Dortmund to the new offer is still pending, although Sky Germany reported at 4.17pm that BVB immediately rejected it.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg has suggested that Die Schwarzgelben are demanding around €65million for the young Englishman.
