Karim Coulibaly is expected to leave SV Werder Bremen after the current 2025-26 season ends, according to information from BILD.
A “secret meeting” took place on Tuesday with his agent Nochi Hamasor and club bosses, where both sides agreed on a summer transfer.
Coulibaly, who is currently sidelined with a torn muscle fibre, made strides earlier this sesson and established himself as a regular starter.
His performances have attracted the interest of numerous clubs, with Bremen even rejecting a €20million offer in the winter transfer window.
According to BILD, if Bremen successfully avoid relegation, a transfer fee in the region of €40-45million is being discussed.
This would see Coulibaly break Bremen's record sales held by former star Diego and his record €27million move to Juventus in 2009.
However, clubs from the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the PremierLeague have expressed interest in the young centre-half.
