Bayern Munich are in advanced negotiations with Chelsea over a loan move for Nicolas Jackson, with only final details left to be resolved before the transfer can be completed, according to Sky Germany.

Speaking ahead of Bayern’s 3–2 DFB-Pokal first-round win over Wehen Wiesbaden, board member for sport Max Eberl said he believes the 24-year-old possesses the qualities the club are looking for.

“If we find a player who’s physically ready, who scores goals, provides assists, and already has experience, then we’d love to bring him in on loan. When I read his track record, he seems capable of that,” Eberl said of Jackson.

Reports suggest Bayern would cover Jackson’s full salary and pay a loan fee of up to €11.5 million, with an obligation to buy expected to be included in the deal.

Jackson has scored 30 goals in 81 appearances for Chelsea.
