Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane reflected on the team’s hard-fought 2–1 victory over Borussia Dortmund, highlighting both the tactical preparation and the collective effort that secured the Klassiker win.

Kane explained how the opener came about, noting a weakness in Dortmund’s defense: “They have a weak zone at the front post area at corners and it was a great ball from Kimmich - we studied that in training.”

He also addressed a moment of controversy leading up to his goal involving Serhou Guirassy: “It was not a foul against Guirassy. We both just wanted to get to the ball and I was able to have the right timing.”

Reflecting on Bayern’s overall performance, Kane praised the team’s dominance in the first half: “For 60 minutes we played really well and should have scored more goals. These games after the international break are always difficult because there is not much preparation.”

Finally, the striker emphasized the importance of the win in the context of the season: “It’s great to win the Klassiker. It’s one of the biggest games of the season.”

Kane’s comments underline both his own composure and Bayern’s tactical execution as they continue their pursuit of Bundesliga glory.
