Michael Olise named 2025/26 Bundesliga Player of the Season

Michael Olise has been voted the 2025/26 Bundesliga Player of the Season.
The French international received the award following Saturday’s 5-1 victory over 1. FC Köln, shortly before lifting the Bundesliga trophy with Bayern Munich.
Olise finished the Bundesliga season with an outstanding return of 15 goals and 19 assists, becoming the first player since former Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho in 2019/20 to record at least 15 goals and 15 assists in a single Bundesliga campaign.
"Michael Olise is a spectacular player who can make the difference, who has made his mark in the 2025/26 Bundesliga season with his dynamism, finesse, consistency and goals," explained German Football League CEOs Marc Lenz and Steffen Merkel.
"He’s developed into a poster boy for the league on a national and international level in the last two years, standing for both footballing and athletic excellence. We’d like to congratulate Michael on his victory and his outstanding season for Bayern."
