VfB Stuttgart's Finn Jeltsch has revealed that he is aware of rumours regarding Bayern Munich's interest in him this summer.

“I’ve read that [the rumours] as well, but it’s not something I'm thinking about," Jeltsch told reporters from Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

“My full focus is on the upcoming season with VfB. I have an ideal environment here and can play in the Champions League,” he added.

With Jürgen Klopp now at the helm of Germany, Jeltsch made no secrets of his desire to catch the new national team coach's eye.

“Absolutely, that’s clearly my goal. Playing for Germany was already something very special in the youth national teams.

“And if Jürgen Klopp were to contact me, I would be absolutely thrilled. It’s a big dream,” the 20-year-old said with a grin.
