Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as the frontrunners to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.

According to The Athletic, the 19-year-old has identified PSG as his preferred destination should he leave Leipzig this summer.

Diomande is said to be convinced by the club's long-term project, believing a move to Paris would give him the best opportunity to compete for major trophies and put himself in a position to win the Ballon d'Or in the future.

Liverpool have also been strongly linked with Diomande, but may now turn their attention to other targets.

Diomande is currently representing Côte d'Ivoire at the World Cup.
