When Bayern München lock horns with Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday, it will certainly be a game to remember for Alphonso Davies.

Because, apparently, the Bayern starlet looked up to former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and kept a close eye on 'The Blues' while growing up.

"My dad has always been a big Chelsea fan. And I've been a fan of Didier Drogba," Davies revealed in an interview with Kicker.

"It's going to be really hard. Chelsea have a young a hungry team. We have to prepare really well," he said about the game.

Davies, 19, joined Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019.
