Hertha BSC have confirmed the imminent departures of six players.

Per Ciljan Skjelbred, Salomon Kalou, Thomas Kraft and Alexander Esswein are all out of contract this summer and will not sign new deals at the German capital club.

Marius Wolf and Marko Grujic, who are on loan from Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool respectively, are also set to depart the club.

"Per Skjelbred will be leaving us for Norway. We also won't be extending the contracts of Salomon Kalou and Alex Esswein. Thomas Kraft will also be leaving us at the weekend, whilst the loans of Grujic and Marius Wolf run out as well," Hertha boss Michael Preetz said on Thursday.

Meanwhile, it's still up in the air if Peter Pekarik and Vedad Ibisevic will be extending their contracts beyond the end of the season.
