Brentford FC have announced the signing of Mads Bidstrup from RB Leipzig on a three-year deal with an option to extend for another year.

Bidstrup, 19, joined RB Leipzig from Danish side FC Copenhagen for €2 million in January 2018.

The central midfielder never made his debut for RB Leipzig's first team. He played 39 games for the club's under-19 side, scoring six goals.

A few days ago, 'Die Roten Bullen' announced the departure of another youngster, Frederik Jäkel, who has joined Belgian side KV Oostende on a two-year loan deal.
