Thomas Müller hypes up Mainz talent Brajan Gruda: "He‘s got something special!“
DFB coach Julian Nagelsmann has called up Gladbach‘s Rocco Reitz and Mainz‘s Brajan Gruda in preparation for the Euro 2024 tournament. Gruda especially seems to have caught the attention of some of Germany‘s best football players, like Thomas Müller.
„When you watch him, you see that he has something special! It‘s about consistency for him now. That‘s why I got his jersey back then and made it public. I thought he was remarkably good!“, said Müller about the Mainz player.
Nagelsmann himself also had a lot of praise for shootingstar Gruda:
„He is a very creative player in the final third and has a good technique. Gruda has a great left foot and I hope to see a lot of him in the coming training sessions - he doesn’t need to hide from anyone.“
If or when Gruda decides to make the next step in his career, remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure: football Germany will be watching him.
