Sky Germany reports that RB Leipzig are prepared to offload Loïs Openda before the transfer window closes if the price is right.
Openda started in Leipzig's 6-0 Bundesliga opener against Bayern Munich, but was substituted at half-time after a lacklustre performance.
He has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, but most of the English top clubs have already strengthened up front.
Newcastle United, however, could still pursue a striker, as Alexander Isak's future at the club remains uncertain
Having joined from Lens for €40 million in 2023, Openda is Leipzig's second-most expensive signing, only behind Xavi Simons, who cost €50 million.
