Bayern Munich could be on the lookout for a left-back this summer, with Alphonso Davies currently looking likely to leave the club when his contract expires.

On Bild's Phrasenmäher podcast, a listener asked RB Leipzig's David Raum if he could see himself replacing the Canada international at Bayern.

"To be honest, I have no idea what will happen after the season, but I have a contract here and everything is great," Raum replied.

He was quick to point out that there is nothing to suggest a move to Bayern is on the cards at the moment.

"There is no dialogue, nothing. I can honestly say that and that's why it's not a topic for me at all.

"But you know how it is in football. I feel very comfortable here and I see my future in Leipzig. But I've also said, for example, that the Premier League could be a dream and a big goal at some point," Raum continued.

The 26-year-old left-back, who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, joined RB Leipzig from Hoffenheim in 2022. His contract runs until the summer of 2027.
