Saarbrücken's Tim Civeja set for free transfer to Karlsruhe SC

The 24-year-old is joining Karlsruhe SC after his contract expired with the Saarland club.

According to sources at Sky Germany, the transfer of Tim Civeja from 1.FC Saarbrücken to Karlsruhe SC is reportedly a done deal.

The 24-year-old has officially completed his medical at the Baden-Württemberg club and will put pen to paper shortly. 

With his current contract expiring at Saarbrücken at the end of the month, Civeja joins Karlsruhe as a free transfer.

It's also believed the midfielder has his heart set on joining Karlsruhe, turning down three other offers from unnamed clubs. 

The Dachau native came through the academy at FC Augsburg and represented Ingolstadt on loan before joining Saarbrücken in 2023. 

Last campaign, the former Albanian U-21 star made 35 appearances in the third tier, producing 5 goals and 7 assists.
