Nuri Sahin has given an update on his Borussia Dortmund squad ahead of Saturday's clash with local rivals VfL Bochum.

Most notably, he had positive news on Giovanni Reyna, who suffered an injury during the last international break.

"Things are looking good for Gio Reyna. Surprisingly good. He could be a possibility without getting our hopes up too high," said Sahin.

"Ramy [Bensebaini] and Julian Ryerson had a cold, but they did some training. Yan Couto is also training after a bit of a flu."

After last week's embarrassing 5-1 defeat at the hands of Stuttgart, Dortmund will be fired up to get back to winning ways.

"We can't take back the game against Stuttgart. We have to learn from it. We knew there would be setbacks. Of course we want to see a reaction to the performance and try to win the game in our stadium on Friday," said Sahin.
