According to consistent media reports, José Mourinho is set to return to the Real Madrid dugout this summer – and he is said to have set his sights on a prominent name from the Bundesliga.

Citing sources from Spain, Sport Bild reports that Mourinho has identified RB Leipzig star Yan Diomande as one of his preferred targets, potentially as a replacement for Vinícius Júnior, whose future in the Spanish capital is uncertain.

Following his breakout Bundesliga campaign, Diomande has expressed his willingness to stay at Leipzig for at least another season, with the club planning to offer him a new, improved contract.

However, Die Roten Bullen could be tempted to sell if a truly extraordinary offer arrives – likely closer to €150 million than €100 million.

Diomande will now head to the World Cup with Côte d'Ivoire, and strong performances there could push his valuation further towards the upper end of that range.
