Zeidler explains 16h minute substitution of Masovic had nothing to do with injury
Bochum coach Peter Zeidler has explained why he took Erhan Masovic off the pitch after just 15 minutes of Saturday's match against Holstein Kiel.

Erhan Masovic was substituted in the 15th minute of the match against Holstein Kiel.
And as Bochum coach Peter Zeidler explained afterwards, it wasn't because of an injury.
"I wasn't happy with the way we started the game: Too sluggish, too many lateral passes in a row and just not the way we wanted to play," Zeidler explained in a post-match interview.
"Taking Erhan off or not starting 'Toto' [Losilla] was not a decision against either player.
“Toto always makes a strong case to start. With his presence, he and the other players sent out a signal, which is why we went into half-time 2-1 up, and not undeservedly so.”
Bochum eventually had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Holstein Kiel and are still looking for their first win of the season.
