Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy and Ramy Bensebaini will reportedly take a break during the international break rather than travel to play for their respective national teams.

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Dortmund have ensured that Guirassy will not participate in Guinea’s friendlies against Togo and Niger.

The decision comes after a heavy schedule that appears to have taken its toll on Guirassy, who has scored just twice in his last 11 games.

The report also states that Ramy Bensebaini will stay at home, missing Algeria’s friendlies against Zimbabwe, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Most recently, Bensebaini watched Dortmund’s 1-1 draw with Hamburger SV from the bench after experiencing back problems ahead of the game.
