Manchester City are very interested in Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha and are closely monitoring his situation, Sky Germany reports.

Initial talks between BVB sporting director Kehl and Nmecha’s new agents over a potential contract extension have already taken place.

The Westphalians still hold most of the cards in any future negotiations given the 25-year-old is still under contract at Dortmund until 2028.

Nmecha earns around €5– 6million per year at Dortmund, but the Bundesliga club is more than prepared to increase his salary.

A long-term dream of Nmecha is to play in the Premier League. However, for now, he is fully focused on Dortmund.

Nmecha – formerly a Manchester City youth academy talent – left the Citizens' U-23 side to join VfL Wolfsburg in July 2021.

From there, he progressed through the ranks and signed for Dortmund on a €30million deal two years later in July 2023.
