Sky’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Finnish international Lukas Hradecky is very close to completing a move to AS Monaco. According to the report, Die Werkself have reached full agreement with the Ligue 1 side to sanction the move for €4 million.
However, Leverkusen would wait until they find a replacement before leaving the goalkeeper for a medical with Monaco. Erik ten Hag’s side brought Mark Flekken from Brentford, but they need another reinforcement since Matěj Kovář joined PSV.
Monaco will compete in the Champions League once again after finishing last season in third place. The 35-year-old was Leverkusen’s starting goalkeeper last season. The former Eintracht Frankfurt shot-stopper played 323 Bundesliga games.
