The German Football Association's (DFB) sports court has suspended Miro Muheim for one match due to unsportsmanlike conduct.

HSV confirmed the news for the left-back after he was sent off in the 64th-minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to FC Augsburg.

His last-man foul on Augsburg's Anton Kade has been punished and HSV accepted the ruling, which is now legally binding.

As a result he will now miss the upcoming away fixture against VfB Stuttgart this weekend, which kicks off at 17:30 CET on 12 April.

However, the Swiss defender will be eligible to play again for HSV in the North Derby against Werder Bremen on 18 April.

So far, Muheim has played 27 games with 2,335 minutes under his belt, giving him the second-most outfield playing time behind Nicolai Remberg.
