RB Leipzig have confirmed that Eljif Elmas will spend the rest of the season with Torino FC.

The 25-year-old midfielder moves to Italy on loan with an option to buy.

“We would like to wish Eljif all the best in Turin,” said RB Leipzig board member for sport Marcel Schäfer.

“This loan deal is the best possible solution for all parties. Eljif will get the chance to play a lot of football there in a league he’s really familiar with.”

Leipzig paid a reported €24 million to sign Elmas from Napoli in January 2024.

He has played just 89 minutes of football this season.
