Based on his recent public comments, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer appears to be considering leaving Hamburger SV.

"I'd like to play abroad at some point. But I can also imagine staying here," the striker informed the media on today, Tuesday 10 February.

Whether the 24-year-old will extend his expiring contract at HSV seems to be unknown: “We should all wait and see. It could go either way.”

Königsdörffer has clearly been struggling to adapt to the top flight this season, having scored just 2 goals in 20 Bundesliga games.

However, it's clear that the Berlin-born Ghanian international has talent after helped guide HSV to promotion with 14 goals last season.

A transfer to Ligue 1 side OGC Nice collapsed at the last minute last summer, but the club is keen to avoid him leaving on a free transfer.
