Fabrizio Romano reports AC Milan have booked medical tests for Victor Boniface’s loan move from Bayer Leverkusen. According to Romano, the deal will be completed on Friday as the Nigerian international is ready to fly to Milan tonight.

The Serie A giants will have an option to buy for a €30 million fee, plus €5 million add-on. The recent reports suggest the “option to buy” could become mandatory based on the performance of the 24-year-old striker.

Last January, Boniface was about to join Al-Nassr for a transfer fee in excess of €50 million before the Saudi Pro League club canceled the deal at the eleventh hour. Before Milan’s approach, the club confirmed he’ll start the season as a third-choice striker after Patrik Schick and Christian Kofane due to a lack of match fitness.
