Konstantinos Karetsas will not be available to Borussia Dortmund for the time being, the club confirmed earlier this morning. –

Speaking on the sidelines of today's training session, Ole Book explained why and discussed whether the Greek talent has a heart problem.

"It's clear that we're prioritizing the health of both the person and the player. He won't be with us this weekend [vs SC Paderborn].

“At the moment, it doesn't look like it's going in that direction [heart concerns]. So far, we're quite optimistic.

"He is doing well, given the circumstances. Further examinations are underway; we want to get to the bottom of this," the BVB chief added.

This follows the Greek playmaker's circulatory problems during their 3-2 Champions League victory against Villarreal on Tuesday.

According to Belgian media, dehydration played a role in his health situation, but is unlikely to be the sole cause of his collapse.
