With Omar Marmoush's move to Manchester City now a simple formality, Eintracht Frankfurt are close to completing the signing of his replacement.

That's according to French publication Foot Mercato and Italian transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano, who both claim that an agreement is imminent between Eintracht Frankfurt and Olympique Marseille for Elye Wahi.

Wahi, 22, has found the net three times and provided an assist in 13 Ligue 1 appearances for Marseille this season.

He only joined Marseille last summer, completing a move from RC Lens for a reported €25 million.

The Frenchman also played for Montpellier in the past and has found the net 44 times in 125 Ligue 1 matches in total.
