Agent confirms that Ducksch will stay at Werder

The agent of Werder Bremen forward Marvin Ducksch has dismissed speculation about his client's future at Weserstadion.
Marvin Ducksch's agent, Ersin Akan, has announced that his client wants to stay at Werder Bremen beyond the summer.

Ducksch's contract expires in 2024, but the striker has a release clause that would allow him to leave for a fee reported to be €7.5 million before July 15.

However, Werder don't need to worry about losing the 28-year-old striker, according to the player's agent.

"He does not want to leave Bremen. He wants to stay and is looking forward to playing in the Bundesliga with Werder. His decision is firm," Akan told Deichstube.

Ducksch found the net 20 times and set up 10 goals in 32 games in the 2. Bundesliga through the 2021/22 campaign, which saw Werder finish second and win promotion to Germany's top flight.
