Frankfurt updates: SGE in agreement with Algerian attacker, club also scouts Swedish talent

The latest information on the buckling transfer of Algerian international Houssem Aouar to Eintracht Frankfurt is that the Hessen-based club have officially given up on attempts to acquire the 24-year-old following repeated shifty behavior from the player's agent. The 20-year-old Lyon native maintains an estimated market worth of €10 million in the latest transfermarkt listings. Michel cites his own sources to claim that Toulouse nevertheless want upwards of €16 million for the young talent. With the two sides so far apart on a potential transfer fee, negotiations could drag out for some time.
