Julian Nagelsmann’s days as Germany coach appear to be numbered following Monday’s shocking round of 32 exit against Paraguay at the World Cup.

Nothing has been made official yet regarding the future of the 38-year-old, who is under contract with the German Football Association (DFB) until after the European Championship in 2028.

However, a unnamed source at the DFB has told Süddeutsche Zeitung that Nagelsmann “has no chance” of keeping his job, with German press agency SID backing up the claim.

According to Süddeutsche Zeitung, “everything” now points to Jürgen Klopp taking over from Nagelsmann.

Multiple reports claim that the current Red Bull Head of Global Soccer is keen on taking the job.
