Mainz hopeful Robin Quaison will sign a new deal
Mainz are hoping that Robin Quaison will sign a contract extension.
Mainz are keen on extending Robin Quaison's contract beyond 2021, says the club's sporting director, Rouven Schröder.
"Robin is in a good position. He's a Swedish international, has scored 11 goals already, does well for the club and has everything in his hands. We want to extend his contract, we have made that clear to his representatives," Rouven Schröder told Sport Bild.
At the moment, however, it doesn't seem like Quaison is ready to talk about a new contract.
"He has put himself more on the radar. He has earned it. We understand that he's taking his time right now," said Schröder.
Quaison has netted 11 times in 20 Bundesliga appearances this season.
