Jhon Cordoba: Köln have grown stronger every week under Markus Gisdol
Jhon Cordoba has hailed Markus Gisdol's impact at FC Köln.
FC Köln have 'grown stronger' ever since Markus Gisdol was named coach in November, says Jhon Cordoba.
"Since Markus Gisdol was appointed coach, we have grown stronger from week to week. We put much more emphasis on fitness and speed, and we are much stronger physically," the Köln striker told Sport Bild and continued:
"The fans feel that. That's why the connection to them has become closer. The fans know when we need their support. That drives us forward, and then the fans are happy, too."
Cordoba and Köln have won five out of their last six games under Gisdol ahead of Sunday's clash with Bayern München.
