Christoph Baumgartner has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Hoffenheim, the Bundesliga side have announced.

The promising attacking midfielder has put to rest speculation about his future by extending his contract by a further two years until 2025.

"Christoph's development at TSG is an absolute success story for both parties and we look forward to further new chapters," said Hoffenheim director of professional football Alexander Rosen.

"It's clear that a player with his ability is already on the radar of top international clubs. This makes his signal of commitment to Hoffenheim even stronger."

Baumgartner, 21, has racked up seven goals and seven assists in 32 games for Hoffenheim this season.
