After two seasons at TSG Hoffenheim, Anton Stach is leaving the Bundesliga outfit.

The Sinsheim side confirmed on Tuesday that the 26-year-old has joined Leeds United on a permanent basis.

Hoffenheim have reportedly received around €20 million for Stach.

“Anton is an outstanding footballer who delivered consistently strong performances for Hoffenheim over the past two seasons. He’s also a great guy off the pitch - always putting the team first and playing an important role in helping us stay in the league last season,” said Hoffenheim managing director for sport Andreas Schicker.

“That’s why we would have loved to continue working with Anton. But he approached us with the wish to leave the club for Leeds United and take the next step in his career in the Premier League. So we entered into negotiations with Leeds. In the end, along with Anton’s wish, the attractive financial terms of the deal also played a role in our decision to agree to the transfer. We wish Anton all the best for his future and, of course, lots of success in England.”
