Bayer Leverkusen's Malik Tillman has officially been named as one of 26 players who will represent the USA at the 2026 World Cup.
The Nürnberg-born attacker made the move to the Rhineland club from PSV Eindhoven for €35million in July of 2025.
In a difficult first season replacing the outing Florian Wirtz, Tillman produced just 8 goals in 42 games across all competitions.
Joining him is Borussia Mönchengladbach duo Giovanni Reyna and Joe Scally who will also feature for the Stars and Stripes this summer.
In August 2025, Reyna arrived from Borussia Dortmund for €7million and went on to make 19 league appearances notching a goal and assist.
As for Scally, the full-back has been with the Foals since 2019 – this season he scored 2 goals alongside 3 assists in 32 league outings.
The USA's overall squad was carefully selected by coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, formerly of both TSG Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart fame.
Other ex-Bundesliga players include: Chris Richards, Tyler Adams, Weston McKinnie, Ricardo Pepi, Christian Pulisic, Brenden Aaronson and Haji Wright.
