Bayern boss Eberl expects "very intensive" August on the departures front

When asked about the possibility of more departures this summer, Max Eberl said “our stance regarding that is clear" for FC Bayern.
“It hasn't changed in 3 days. The transfer market is extremely volatile. There are big transfers happening,” he said in the mixed zone.
"I think August will be very intensive. We're dependent on what happens, which clubs show interest.
"It also depends on which clubs will qualify for the Champions League or Europa League and need players.
“There's definitely some movement. The guys [Palhinha, Boey, Zaragoza] have a market, but we can't say yet that something will happen in the next couple of days,” he added.
After what the Bavarian club's director of sport described as an “outstanding season” last year, he set out their goals for the new campaign.
"Yes, we'll probably go into the season as favourites in the league. I think Dortmund, Leipzig, Leverkusen with their new coach and new players will be competitors.
"Even though the transfer window is not over yet and we can't fully judge them. There'll probably be 1-2 surprise teams.
“We're aware we'll be favourites, and we want to stay on top and win the title again, that's the goal for the new season. We set the bar high by winning the double last season,” said Eberl.
