Sky Sport have exclusively revealed that VfL Bochum's transfer efforts to sign Moritz Göttlicher may have paid off.

The Ruhr club has supposedly reached an agreement in principle with Bayern Munich for their academy prospect.

The 17-year-old midfield talent joins Bochum with immediate effect. Göttlicher is scheduled to undergo a medical tomorrow, Friday.

Should everything go according to plan, Göttlicher will subsequently sign a five-and-a-half-year contract with the 2.Bundesliga side.

Sky Germany's very own transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that Bochum will pay a very low six-figure transfer fee to Bayern.
