Both L'Équipe and Gianluca Di Marzio report that Werder Bremen add Samuel Mbangula to their wishlist for this summer. The 21-year-old winger was an unused substitute in Juventus’ four Club World Cup games.
However, he was a regular fixture in their latest Serie A campaign, scoring three goals in 23 appearances. Nottingham Forest, who just got promoted from the Conference League to the Europa League, tried to sign the player earlier in the window, but that move is now off the table.
Mbangula was also previously linked with Bayer Leverkusen, AS Monaco and Bournemouth. Bremen would be looking to sign the Belgium U21 international on a loan deal.
