Celtic are preparing a loan move for Aurèle Amenda, but no offer has yet been officially sent to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Scotland's reigning champions need some centre-half cover after Manchester City loanee Jahmai Simpson-Pusey joined 1.FC Köln.

The centre-back wants to leave the Hessen club to get more playing time, but sporting director Markus Krösche is yet to approve his wish.

Other clubs have apparently also been rejected – it's possible these could be OGC Nice of France and Serie A side Torino

Amenda was once again sat on the bench for Frankfurt against Bremen yesterday evening, which ended in a 3-3 stalemate

Amenda’s agent, Jose Noguera Rodriguez, made it very clear at the start of the month that 22-year-old is not getting enough game time.
