Confirmed lineups: Atlético Madrid vs. RB Leipzig

Marco Rose's team have made the trip to the Spanish capital to get their UEFA Champions League campaign underway with a challenging matchup against Atlético Madrid where both lineups have just been announced.

Team news has just emerged from the Wanda Metropolitano where Atlético Madrid will play host to RB Leipzig this evening. Both Marco Rose and Diego Simione have announced their starting line-ups for the night.

Altléti have opted for 5 changes from their side that overturned Valencia 3-0 on Sunday. Cesar Azpilicueta and Samuel Lino are replaced by Reinildo and Riquleme in defence, while Griezmann drops back into midfield. Conor Gallagher and Alexander Sorloth make way for a new strike partnership of Alvarez and Correa.

Meanwhile, the visitors from the East German city of Leipzig have twisted from their underwhelming 0-0 draw with Union Berlin last Saturday, as 3 new faces coming into the starting side for Die Roten Bullen.

Willi Orban returns to captain the side, while Raum slots into a left centre-half role with Xavi Simons at left wing-back. Vermeeren replaces Kevin Kampl in midfield, as does Nusa who shifts into the spot vacated by Simons and just behind Openda.

Confirmed starting line-ups:

Atlético Madrid (5-3-2): Oblak, Llorente, Le Normand, Giménez, Reinildo, Riquelme - De Paul, Koke, Griezmann - Alvarez, Correa

RB Leipzig (3-4-2-1): Gulacsi - Orban, Lukeba, Raum - Henrichs, Haidara, Vermeeren, Simons - Šeško, Nusa - Openda
