Joao Palhinha opens up on Bayern future amid Inter links

João Palhinha has addressed the uncertainty surrounding his future at Bayern Munich amid reports linking the Portugal international with a potential move to Inter.

João Palhinha has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich this summer, with reports indicating that the German champions would be open to selling the midfielder for the right price.

Most recently, it has been suggested that Inter are interested in a move for the Portugal international.

Palhinha, however, appears intent on proving himself at the Allianz Arena despite speculation over his future.

“I have a contract with Bayern for another three years, so I'll report back on the 29th, which is when we start pre-season. Enjoying these vacation days with family and friends is the most important thing right now,” Palhinha told Portuguese media outlet Sport TV (via @iMiaSanMia).

"Regarding my future, as I've said several times, I have three more years on my contract, I don't know what will happen, but I'm at a great club, as I've always said.

“Obviously, it hasn't been an easy year for me, but I'm also very motivated to - as soon as the season starts - prove my worth once again, at a very special club like Bayern, a huge club.”

The defensive midfielder has also been linked with a number of clubs from England.
