Plea to miss Gladbach's clash with Dortmund due to COVID-19

Gladbach forward Alassane Plea has tested positive for COVID-19 and will therefore miss tomorrow's game against Borussia Dortmund.
Alassane Pléa will not be involved when Borussia Mönchengladbach face Borussia Dortmund in their last game of 2022 tomorrow evening.

Providing a personnel update at the pre-match press conference, Gladbach coach Daniel Farke revealed that the Frenchman has tested positive for COVID-19.

"Unfortunately, Alassane Plea is out after returning a positive corona test," Farke told reporters.

"Patrick Herrmann is a doubt due to a bacterial infection. It's uncertain if Tony Jantschke will play too, as he hasn't trained with us this week."
