Leonardo Bittencourt says he has no intentions of returning to Hoffenheim after joining Werder Bremen on loan.

According to Bild, Werder are obliged to sign Bittencourt on a permanent deal at the end of the season as long as they don't get relegated. And the 25-year-old would be happy to stay at Werder in the long run.

"I came to Werder to stay here. That's my clear goal. I want to establish myself here and will do everything for that," Bittencourt said at his official presentation at Werder today, according to Bild.

The 25-year-old thanked Hoffenheim for letting him leave, but also admitted that he never really felt like he fit in at the club.

"It wasn't a lot of fun. I missed playing in front of a full stadium at the weekends. I'm an emotional player, so Bremen suits me better than TSG. Before Hoffenheim, I always played for clubs with a lot of tradition," Bittencourt said.

Bittencourt joined Hoffenheim from FC Köln last summer.
