Luca Waldschmidt admits it would be 'very special' for him to play for Bayern München and reveals he also has a soft spot for Real Madrid.
SC Freiburg star Luca Waldschmidt has flirted with a move to Bayern München in the future.
Speaking in an interview with t-online.de, the German international admits that it would be 'special' for him to play for the German champions.
"It's the biggest and most successful club in Germany. To play for this club would be very special. But it's not something I've been too busy dealing with so far," Waldschmidt said.
"Some clubs are the measure of all things. In Germany, it's FC Bayern. Looking at all of Europe, I think Real Madrid are pretty awesome," he added.
Waldschmidt, who will be sidelined until 2020 due to injury, has netted five times in 11 appearances for Freiburg this season.
