Report: Bayern chase Ivorian winger
Lille's Nicolas Pépé, who has previously been linked with Schalke 04, has apparently drawn interest from Bayern München.
During the summer, Lille winger Nicolas Pépé was linked with a move to Schalke 04 among others, but he ultimately decided to stay at the French club.
According to RMC, Bayern München and FC Barcelona have since shown an interest in the 23-year-old who has scored four goals and made four assists in seven games this season so far.
"It's true that some big clubs are interested in him. They contacted us directly after the transfer market had closed and wanted to know what the plan is," Lille president Gerard Lopez told RMC.
Pépé joined Lille from Angers in 2017. He plays for Ivory Coast and has made nine appearances, scoring three goals for the national team.
